Rumble and polling rate
Some browsers can trigger the controller motors through the Gamepad API vibration feature, usually over a wired USB connection in Chrome. If a rumble test is available and your setup supports it, you will feel the motors buzz. Support is not guaranteed on every browser or over Bluetooth, so a silent result does not always mean a fault.
The tester can also estimate how often the controller reports new data, known as the polling rate or update rate. A DualSense typically updates faster over USB than over Bluetooth. A steady figure with no large gaps suggests a solid connection.
Steam Input vs DirectInput on PC

The DualSense is natively a DirectInput style device on Windows. Many PC games expect the XInput standard used by Xbox pads, which is why some titles do not read a bare DualSense correctly.
